- 5. The Orientation and Assessment was conducted as a part of VISION Programme by Focus Academy for Career Enhancement (FACE) from 25.01.2021 to 27.01.2021.
- 6. The Department organised a Special Lecture Series (4 days) to celebrate the 72nd Republic day

- Innovation Day Programme was conducted on 21st October 2019 presided over by our beloved Principal Dr. T. Rengaraja.
- International Women’s Day was celebrated on 7th March 2020 presided over by Dr. Revathi Kirubakaran, Professor, Department of English, Government Arts College, Nandanam, Chennai.
- National Science Day was celebrated on 10.03.2020 presided over by Dr. Anil Kumar Sharma, Scientific Officer / ‘G’, IGCAR, Kalpakkam.
Academic Year 2018-19
- The S&H Department conducted Debate, Elocution competitions and Quiz competitions under the auspices of the S&H Literary Club from 01.11.2018.
- The Women Development Cell and the ISTE student chapter conducted a motivational program on 20.11.18. The Chief Guest Shrimathi Adhilakshmi Logamurthy gave a lecture on “The Power of Women.”
- Science Day was Celebrated on 22.11.18 presided over by Shri. M.M. Shah, Managing Director, D-Cube Designs, Chennai.
- TNSCST sponsored one day National Seminar on “Recent Trends in Renewable Energy Sources” was organized by the Department of Science and Humanities on 20.12.18. Dr. R. Velraj, Professor & Director, Institute for Energy Studies, Anna University and Dr. M. Venkata Ramanan, Assistant Professor (Senior), Institute for Energy Studies, Anna University were the Resource persons of the program.
- The 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhiji was celebrated and a skit competition was conducted on 25.01.19.
- International Women’s Day was celebrated on 8th March 2019 presided over by Shrimathi Shoba, a Senior Advocate.
- National Science Day was celebrated on 23.03.19 presided over by Shri. Srinivasan Thanukrishnan, Founder & CEO, Glosys Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Chennai.
- Japanese Language Motivational programme for I year students was held on 08.03.19 presided over by Ms. Rajashree Iyer, Alp Consulting Ltd.,

- One Day Workshop On “Essential Aspects Of Environmental Science In Engineering (EAESE)” On 12.07.2017 (Wednesday).
- NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY was conducted on Friday, 9th March 2018.
- International Women’s Day 2018 was celebrated in our college on 16.03.2018.
- The 6 day FDP by NITTTR on Instructional Design and Delivery System was given to the faculty members from 19.06.2017 to 24.06.2017.

- A One Day Seminar On “Innovative Methods / Techniques In Shaping Ourselves” Is To Be Conducted For First Year Students On 13.10.2015 (Tuesday) Under ISTE Student’s Chapter Activity.
- ISTE SPONSORED “YOUTH AWAKENING DAY” was conducted on Thursday, 15th October 2015.
- The Department of Science and humanities (General Engineering) organized the seven days Faculty Development Training Programme on PROGRAMMING AND DATA on STRUCTURES – I 04.01/2016 to 11.01.2016.
- NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY was conducted on Friday, 4th March 2016.
- The Department of Science and humanities (English) Organized International Women’s Day Celebration on 08.03.2016.
- ISTE Sponsored One Day Motivational Programme On “Face Challenges Today For Better Tomorrow” For I Year B.E Students On 11.04.2016 (Monday) Under ISTE Students’ Chapter Activity.

- The department of S&H has conducted a One Day Seminar on Personality Development Programme sponsored by ISTE on 11th March 2015.
- The department of S&H (Chemistry) has conducted a One Day Workshop Innovative Techniques to Control Nuclear Hazards in various fields on 23rd February 2015.

- The Department of S&H(Physics) conducted a one day Workshop on SOLAR ENERGY - "THE BETTER FUTURE" on 25th February 2013.
- The Department of S&H(Mathematics) conducted a one day programme on "Ramanujan Mathematics Awareness Programme (RMAP)" on 25th February 2013.
- The Department of S&H (Chemistry) conducted a one day National Workshop on "ROLE OF NANOMATERIALS IN SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING" on October/November 2012.
Academic Year 2009-10
- A two day National Conference on "Multimedia Enhanced Language Teaching" (MELT - 09) was organized by the Department of S&H (English) on 7th & 8th August 2009. This Project was sponsored by Education Technology Unit of Central Institute of Indian Languages, Masanagangothri, Mysore.
Academic Year 2008-09
- The Department of S&H (English) conducted a two day workshop on "Enhancing Second Language Teaching by Effective Evaluation Methods" (ESTTEM - 09) on 21st and 22nd of February - 09. This ESTEEM - 09 project was sanctioned and sponsored by National Testing service India, Centre for Testing and Evaluation, Central Institute of Indian Languages, Masanagangothri, Mysore.
