Dr. N. Suresh Kumar obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai and Post-Graduation in Microwave and Optical Engineering from Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering & Technology, Karaikudi. He obtained his Doctoral Degree in the area of Electromagnetic Interference and Compatibility from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai in 2007. He has 36 years of teaching, administration and research experience. He has served as the Principal in leading institutions from the year 2008. He is the recognized supervisor in Anna University Chennai. Received “Eminent Engineer Award” from The Institution of Engineers (India) Madurai in the year 2012. Received appreciation letter from M/s. Fujikura Ltd., KOTO-KU, Tokyo for the guidance for the project in 2006.
His extensive research experience has produced 8 Ph.Ds. so far and has published 76 Research Articles in various International Journals and in Conference Proceedings. He has co-authored 24 Textbooks published to his credit. He has significant contribution in carrying out several funded research projects in EMI/EMC from Funding Agencies like DST, DRDO worth Rs. 49.55 Lakhs and Rs. 21.21 Lakhs respectively. He has received AICTE AQIS-RPS scheme worth 6 Lakhs and own a Startup company from the year 2022.
Dr. N. Suresh Kumar has invited to National University of Singapore to explore Joint Research Programmes during 2008. He was nominated as Member of Academic Council of Anna University, Tirunelveli and Chennai. He was also a Member of Board of Studies of Affiliated Institutions under the Faculty of Information and Communication Engineering of Anna University, Chennai. He was instrumental in obtaining NBA, NAAC, R&D Recognition Centre and introducing various Innovative Programmes during his stint as a principal in various leading Engineering Colleges.
