Japanese Students Enrolment

RMK College of Engineering and Technology has established a strong Centre for Foreign Languages (CFL) to prepare students for global careers, with Japanese being one of its flagship language programmes. The college offers a structured learning pathway from JLPT N5 to N3, enabling students to develop language proficiency alongside their engineering education and enhancing opportunities for internships and placements in Japanese companies.

The Japanese language programme has witnessed remarkable participation of students. A total of 440 students are currently enrolled in Japanese, with 368 students from the 2025–2029 batch, 40 students from the 2024–2028 batch, and 32 students from the 2023–2027 batch. This reflects the growing interest among students in acquiring Japanese language skills to pursue international career opportunities and strengthen Indo-Japanese industry collaboration.
