The German Language Programme at RMK College of Engineering and Technology has become an important initiative in preparing students for global academic and career opportunities in Germany and other German-speaking countries. Through the Centre for Foreign Languages (CFL), students develop proficiency in the German language along with intercultural communication skills, enabling them to pursue higher studies, internships, and employment in international organizations.
The programme currently has 234 enrolled students, reflecting the growing interest in German language learning among engineering students.
The inaugural 2025–2029 batch demonstrated an excellent performance in the German A1 examination, with a high pass percentage of 97.3% and commendable participation of students. The encouraging results reflect the students' commitment, the dedicated efforts of the faculty and coordinators, and the effectiveness of the structured training provided through the Centre for Foreign Languages.
