Cloud Computing can open a whole new world of jobs, services, platforms, applications and much more. With cloud computing and the technology behind it there are many potential opportunities and capabilities. There are thousands of possibilities beginning to form as the future of cloud computing starts to really take off. Cloud computing is one of the hottest technologies with a high demand for qualified professionals.

The main objective of the Center of Excellence is to create an enabling environment for the students to be trained in cloud technologies, and to turn them into experts on the latest trends in the corporate world. CoE enables the students to participate in programming challenges, coding competitions and hackathons organized by industries. This enhances the skills of students and provide great opportunity to network with industry experts.

The cloud job market constantly evolves as technologies ranging from serverless to AI, as well as multi-cloud, create new possibilities. Trainings and certifications will put the students’ way ahead of their competition and fast track their goals of gaining an advantage in career. Cloud Computing CoE inculcate the spirit of learning among students, pave way for innovative learning and help the students to build a successful career path in Cloud Computing.

Students are given specialized training in various technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, Salesforce and additional certification trainings are conducted to provide them more career opportunities.

Our institution is an approved AWS Academy Member institution, through which we train the students and prepare them for industry recognized certifications and careers in Cloud Computing. We also offer Google Cloud Computing Foundations curriculum and participates in Google’sCareer Readiness Program. Various Trainings, Guest Lectures and workshops are conducted every year. A total of 55 students have completed AWS Solutions Architect – Associate certification.

Atos is a European multinational information technology (IT) service and consulting company with headquarters in Bezons, France, and offices worldwide. It specialises in hi-tech transactional services, unified communications, cloud, big data and cybersecurity services. Atos operates worldwide under the brands Atos, Atos|Syntel, Atos Consulting, Atos Healthcare, Atos Worldgrid, Groupe Bull, Canopy, Maven Wave, and Unify.

The company was formed in 1997 through a merger of two French IT companies; and combined with the Dutch-based company Origin B.V. in 2000 to become Atos Origin. It subsequently acquired KPMG Consulting in 2002 and SchlumbergerSema in 2004. In 2010 Atos Origin announced the buyout of Siemens IT Solutions and Services and finalized the acquisition in July 2011. Afterwards, the company name reverted to Atos

Lab Established

In RMKCET we have established a Cloud Computing laboratory which was inaugurated by Mr. Nasir Usman Shaikh Senior Vice-President, Atos Global IT Solutions , Mr. Senthilnathan Senior Vice-President, Atos Global IT Solutions Mr.Kesava Das Vice-President, Atos Global IT Solutions and other team of Experts from Atos Global IT Solutions on the same day of MoU signed.
