About the Department

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was started in the academic year 2008-2009. The department has highly qualified and dynamic faculty members specialized in advanced areas. The department has good infrastructure and it imparts high quality education  structured to meet the present day needs. The CSE Students Association XENIOZ organizes activities like Paper Presentation, Project Display and Technical Quiz.

 

VISION

To provide an academically conductive environment for students to reach their full potential in computer science and engineering, thereby inculcating an affinity for lifelong educational renewal and preparing them to face the challenges of the modern high tech society with human values and ethics.

 

MISSION

  • The mission of Computer Science and Engineering programme is to provide quality technical education to the students, emphasizing in-depth knowledge of the subjects, critical thinking, cutting edge technologies, research skills, leadership skills and professional ethics thereby making a prolific career in academics, industry and government thereby generating computer engineers having societal awareness.

 

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEO)

  • The graduate engineer has acquired vast knowledge in mathematics, science and computer science engineering, to solve computer engineering problems
  • The graduate engineer has the ability to use technique to develop software applications  to meet the         requirements of the Computing artifacts.
  • The graduate engineering has acquired knowledge in cutting-edge technologies and innovations within the field of computer science, necessary to solve real world problems and research work.
  • The graduate engineer has good business communication skill and also demonstrates professional and  ethical behaviour.
  • The graduate engineer is prepared for life-long learning and continuing professional development.
